Exhaust help

Hi guys,

I am trying to fit a TVR power sports exhaust on a T350.

I am at the stage of fitting the new back boxes, but have hit a problem.

They don't seem to line up properly. The exhaust hangers are miles away from meeting the rubbers and I cannot work out what can be wrong!!!!

The only thing I can think of is that I have been supplied with the wrong exhaust? Do the Tamora and T350 Power Sports Exhausts differ or is it the same part?

Does anybody have any pictures of the power sports exhausts fitted without the splitter on?

They must be the wrong exhausts surely...

I take it the exhaust rubber mountings are intended to be used and not for show? As you can they are a million miles from reaching the exhaust rubbers. The splitter doesn't fit properly either...

Hi Ben. The hangers position was changed on the later models, and the exhaust appears to have the exhaust hanger position for the later T350's made. Bugger Hey! I know this as when I had my JP sports made. JP called me to ask what year the car was produced as the later models (like the exhaust you have fitted) have them in a different position. Looks like you'll have to get the welder out and change them mate.

Hi,

I can adjust the hangers easily enough. But it still doesn't line up...

The holes in the splitter that the exhausts go through do not fit, it's in the wrong position. The original exhaust tail pipes sit a lot higher than the ones in the picture. I don't get it...

Maybe there are more differences between the years than just the exhaust hangers?

Can anybody who has a power sports exhaust confirm?

Hi, I have the racing green pipes on mine which exactly the same as yours. I have an 04 T350 and yes my pipes sit alot higher and the hangers are longer aswell.

I seem to recall that Tamora pipes sit lower than T350s so my bet is that you have Tomora pipes.

Hope you get it sorted as they sound awesome !!!!
