Advice on brake pad fitting please.

Planning to fit a set of Mintex pads on the Sag this weekend and as I have no owners manual I would very much appreciate any tips from those with experience of this proceedure!
As with most things on a TVR I suspect the brakes are from another car so is there a Haynes manual worth getting to cover this?
