Boot Lock T350

Hi all - my boot lock has stopped working. No sound at all when I press the badge. Any ideas please? Anyone know which fuse relates to that lock - the fuse diagram doesn't label it! Also, is there an emergency way of unlocking the boot? I've looked in the place where that is set-up for the Tuscan, but can't find anything that would release it in the T350.

The entry method is the same for both marques!

Failing that suggest you ring your local Tiv Garage.

Or ring one of your PH mates who owns a tiv, you really need a little more mileage on PH before anybody will divulge emergency entry methods.

Have you pressed the button on the dashboard (near the electric windows) which locks the doors when you are inside?

I have noticed when I have done this before it seems to screw up the sync and sometimes the boot doesn't open?

Thanks for the responses - and I understand your reluctance to share the entrance method, but I did get a call from an owner who knew exactly the problem (thanks Mark).

For the benefit of any others, there is a simple rubber washer/spacer on the back of the badge, which is originally glued but can become unstuck and slip out of position. Without it, the badge won't contact the solenoid button.

Fiddly job removing the badge - in through the access hole where the tyre weld cans are stored, remove the two self locking nuts, refix the rubber spacer and re-fit - but took me less than an hour start to finish.

Had the same problem last week the glue for the little black rubber must have a limited life span!
