Anyone found better settings than the factory defaults?

For that matter, what are the factory defaults? Are they as shown in the screenshot in the manual?

Seriously though, mine seem to be a little eratic and can't be trusted.

The lights come on at lower revs when the engine is cold (oil or water temp not up to a certain figure - not sure which as the T350 doesn't have this).

Set the lights to what suits you. Some like them closely grouped around 6000-7000rpm, others like green at 5000, yellow at 6000, red at 7000. There is no specific setting to use. There is a rev limiter somewhere above 7,000.

On Sag Oil temp lower than 40 degC will give red shift lamp at 4000rpm

Also if sender or wire faulty will do same.

Factory settings do vary
Lamps red at 7200 rpm
Late Hard Rev limiter 7800rpm

Have mine set to 6500/7000/7500. But there again, when pushing, everything happens so fast that all three are on when changing up )

Anyone else got a performance box? Not quite got to 3.8 0-60 yet, but 0-100 in under 9 not bad - on a private road of course.

Hmm, so maybe I'm wrong then. I've never noticed as I don't use the revs until it warms up - I never go above 3,000 rpm when below 50-60 degs.

Me neither, as a rule. However sometimes I need to be pretty swift getting out of my little back lane on to the main road and in winter with a combination of muddy tyres and icy lane/road surface this sometimes involves a little slippy, slidey, wheel spin action and it's associated flaring of revs. A quick flash of green as low as 3,000 revs.
