Tamora Oil Temp

Have noticed the oil temp on my recently acquired Tamora struggles to break 60C on steady throttle at motorway speeds. Water temp is 73/75 at same speed and both increase in traffic or when exercised a bit harder as you would expect Is this about right or do you think it is over cooling, maybe thermostat opening too soon or staying open?

From my experience with current cold air that is normal, I put it down to cold air over the sensor at speed or additional cooling at speed?

Ive just arrived home from N Yorks 50 miles,motorway,Water temp 72,Oll temp 49 all the way, Outside air temp -2 to -4 degrees.

In cold weather I see temps similar to this, so nothing unusual.

Thats normal. Its the cold air over the sensor especially on the motorway! I was told by a TVR garage thats once you have established 60 degress your fine even if the readout drops back down.

Thanks for all replies, something less to worry about or it would be if I hadn't just found my radiator leaking!

I will replace with all aluminium I think, anyone got any recomendations?
