Getting my Sag back tomorrow

Its been away for about 2 weeks now having the new quaife fitted and changing the diff to 3, 73. cant wait....

just picked my Sag up today from Hex with new 3.73 diff and TVR Power Eprom. Too early to tell, need to run new diff in for a little but first impressions are superb........Neil

How long does the diff need to run in then? and whats the best way to run it in?

hey john

i got the quaife diff for about £700, i think it was tail slide on here that sorted that all out. racing green sorted out the 3 .76 and all the fitting of the quaife and whatever else that goes into it. that all cost £1400. hope fully see a big improvement when its all run in and ready to play properly.

The Eprom from TVR Power costs £150 + VAT, Hexham charged £45 to install and carry out basic engine tune via laptop. Mechanic said that the car was running and idling as sweet as a nut and that the throttle response was very crisp. Dom @ TVR Power commented on chip as follows:

Eprom Tvr Power has developed offers linear power, there is no more hp gains only 5 ftlbs torque, I have purposely developed this eprom so your able to use 95 octane with no power loss or detonation also you may have noticed 1st stage cooling fan kick in at 88 degs apposed to 93 degs this ables to optimize fuel consumption.
