or is my display on it´s way out????
I have noticed that it seems to get weaker at times (especially after some driving) but when you restart the car it is back on full power (not that full power was brilliant anyhow- run it on 100% brightness since I own it)

Is this inconsistency the first sign that the display will pack up or do I need to see my friendly optometrist???

If people think I need a new display which one is currently mostly recommended the clever trevor one??? Or the aftermarket one konrad fitted????

I beleive there is a fan in the POD to aid cooling, you might want to check that this is still functioning and 'in place'

A normal LCD display won`t fade as such, you`ll get missing lines when its failing. The contrast controller may be going (if its seperate..)

Thanks James- fsn seems to be working- at least it makes its usual noises (albeit I can not feel it blowing somewhere)
if the controler/dimmer is going how can I find out it is seperate???

I can`t honestly say as I haven`t got my Sagaris yet (3 days!!!)

Racing Green noticed that the display was flicking (the backlight was going or the contract was being incorrectly set) - other than that I`ve no idea..
