tamora oil leak

my drives covered in a healthy drip drip of oil for the last month now , havent driven far but checking levels and there fine . where could it be coming from ?
going to florida soon so funds are tight , should i take it easy or get it looked at asap ?

always used to be the oil pressure sender unit when I had mine, not too expensive to have fitted

I agree it sounds like the iol sensor .Its a quick cheap job.

If its on the driver side of the engine, yes its prob the oil pressure sender

Mine had a leak from the oil pressure sender and from a hose joint at the oil tank - hopefully fixed now by the nice man at the garage.

Glad to see you posting again - I'd agree with everyone else - it'll be the seal on the oil sender unit. If you get it changed, that'll be the 5th. it's had!

Otherwise, how's the car going? Still running well?

Mine was the scavenger to dry sump pipe, it had chaffed away on the chassis after the engine mount had died..

That's another thing that needs sorting - the standard engine mounts are crap. It would have saved me a lot of money having long-lasting and more robust mounts. Surely someone could start manufacturing them?

hi nubbin , yeh cars running fab , apart from a bit of oil and a healthy road rash its been fun fun fun. cant wait for the summer

I had the same problem with an oil leak. Had the original oil pressure sender unit replaced with oil pressure sender unit mk2 which stopped the leak.
