Air Condition problem on T350

Hi

Is anyone familiar with an air conditioning fault on T350? It came up the other day "Fault number: 137: air conditioning Fault"

Anyone seen this before?

Appreciate people's help on this

Is it by any chance a yellow T350

Does the aircon actually work though? Is it blowing any air through the mid vents? (not the windscreen vents). Could be a sensor, or the aircon ECU.

not yellow one....

It works in that middle vents blow hot when hot andcold when cold (although window seem to blow hot permanently - is that right?!)

so seems to be working (if above is normal!!)

It sounds to me as though everything is as normal - including the spurious 137 errors.

The 137 error is a common and consistent problem and it isn't anything to worry about. If you want to understand more about the mysteries of the TVR aircon system and improve the performance have a search on the site.There have been several threads on the topic.

Mine sometimes pops up when the car's been sitting in traffic getting hot. AC works well (not that I need it much!) and I'm told it's just a common software glitch.

Likewise my Sagaris does exactly the same thing, wouldn`t be a normal drive if I didn`t have one A/C fault (and the odd extremely quick EFI fault)

The A/C works extremely well, its too cold at the moment and I`m sure even in summer its going to be too much - I can freeze a bottle of water in the glovebox given about 15 minutes

FWIW mine has only done this once in nearly 4 years of ownership, when the aircon ECU packed up in South France (luckily it defaulted to aircon = on permanently).

The only other error code I have seen is Error 04, on startup, goes away straight away though. Used to do that one all the time and need clearing - I think that was caused by the sensor on top of the airbox, could be wrong though.

All these error codes popping up on cars could be signs of a bad connection somewhere - either at the sensor, or an earth.
