New copy of evo

Got in from work to find the new copy of evo on my mat. Alls going well till i get to the letters section to find a letter completely sgging off the t350 by someone that should know better (apparently an ex-tvr owner). Im looking to buy in the future and am going in eyes wide open. I understand renault spend the same money designing the air con in their cars than tvr were able to spend on entire cars so i expect problems. In fact the owner involvement in identifying whats gone wrong, why and how to fix it, im looking forward to. Am sure t350 owners reading the evo letter will mutter the same curses about the writer that i did at the end?!

There will always be the people who don't appreciate what a bargain these cars are. Even if you spend serious sums on er, 'development' they're still bargains compared to 911s etc.

I shouldn't worry about it, someone obviously had a bad experience. There are only a few hundred of these cars in existence, and prices are holding up nicely in the high teens/low 20s. Most readers will not take one punter's letter as gospel and will probably drool over yet another TVR picture.

tbh havin owned a few the T350 imho is probably the best of the lot, ok its not a sagaris for outright pace (its damn close tho) and the handling a little more involved, although the Sags not the leap forward they made it out to be, i do prefer the Sag having owned both but tbh for the money id take the T350, the sag in my eyes was not a 15k superior car.

The T350 looks amazing and sounds fantastic, but is unreliable and deeply flawed as road car for everyday use

Some people just don't "get" TVR ownership.

Treat them like a classic British Sports Car that needs to be loved, looked after and fettled and they are a joy. If that's not your scene then buy yourself a Porsche.
