What Sunglasses?

Has anybody found a type/make of sunglasses that enables the wearer to see the LCD display in their Tamora whilst wearing them?
If anybody can recommend some then I may be able to make it all the way to Chatsworth to help with the record attempt, as it is bound to be a really bright sunny day.

Oakleys with a cap mean you can see the screen a bit. You can fairly easily see the big numbers but the small ones are still a bit hard.

Would be interested if there are any better combinations.

I would think anything with a light to medium tint but must not be polarised. I got a pair of oakleys (now 8 years old) but the tint is too heavy otherwise they would be fine. Any of the decent brands you can usually specify the lens type rather than just buy a pair off the shelf as it were.

Seems like a perfect excuse to get a new pair

I took my Tamora around Europe last year and had a pair of Ray-Ban Polarised glasses and they weren't too bad. Its still not perfect but you just have to put the right screen on your display so you see the larger numbers. The polarised lenses are designed to take away the the reflections of things thats why fishermen wear them to see through the water.

I agree, polarised lenses are be the way to go. This should do the trick.

Ahh but depending on the LCD polarized lenses can appear to make them look blank, but if you guys can see it then obviously not the TVR lcd. In which case yes polarized lenses are the way to go to reduce a lot of glare especially off other windscreens and rear screens
