Anyone know this Tam?

Hi all,

I'm new here and having gained invaluable info here i've decided a Tam's the one.

A bit thin on the ground I must say!, anyways, one for sale at The Manor Garage in Wiltshire on Autotrader. I'm up north (Scotland) so I'd rather get a heads up before travelling/taking the advice of a salesman from a non TVR garage. It certainly looks good but so did an ex of mine.

Any info appreciated,

Don't know the car and not looking for (another) one at the moment, but saw this in the classifieds and thought the colour really suits the car and it all looks very clean.

Pricewise it seems good if the mileage can be qualified and the history is there, though if it is on 11k then is the 12k service due soon? Which may be near enough by the time you got it home depending on where in Scotland you are.

The interior colour might put me off but as the interior is stated as being red then maybe it looks lighter in the photo's than it really is.

Only potential odd/haggling bits I could see are ...

Never before seen that flap on the drivers side bolster, whats underneath? I.e. rips and scuffs (shouldn't be at 11k)
The rear splitter is not colour coded (wouldn't bother me)
18 inch alloys but no centre badges (£5 on Ebay)
No cap on the washer bottle (1 litre milk bottle top?)

Just an observation, but there don't seems to be many Tams available at the moment. This is normally the time of year they start appearing in the classifieds.

Lets hope the prices follow the Sag and start rising as they should for good examples!
