T350 Dashpod backlight flashes on and off??????

Hi all

Bit of a strange one at the moment - when I have my lights on (sidelight or dipped) and the dials are illuminated they sometimes flick on and off when driving along - usually when over a bump etc...

Is there something that could be loose that can be easily checked or re-fitted? It must be a loose connection but is so annoying when driving along and the dials plunge into darkness - the led readout still works so not a major prob but very annoying.

Any help much appreciated.

Its possible the cable for the LCD isn`t correctly home (or has split). The contrast and brightness will be controlled by one or two wires from the Dash pod ECU to the LCD display.

Are you losing all contrast/brightness (i.e. when its working set the pod to 0% settings and does this look like what your seeing?)

Its literally the backlight to the dials that is not working - as opposed to the LCD.

No matter what setting it is set to, it every now and then just plunges the dials into darkness.

The led display remains unaffected
