im sure you all cought the fab T350 buying guide in last months EVO .
anybody seen the letter WALK ON BY in the mail section of this month !!!
by a mr Graham Ridgway .... intesting read.
i like the "the t350 is the biggest heap of unreliable junk around" bit best !
is this guy for real or what ?
my tamoras not skiped a beat.
my ford ka on the other hand has had 3 !!! cpu's swoped (dash out job) and now its out of warrenty i ignore the fact the lights on and it splutters for ia bit when i start it because rain water runs into the cab and all the eletrics all the time. also its rusted horribly and had new stearing rack and new joints, also has less milage than my tamora ..... in fact the tamora is the most reliable car iv owned , well apart from a h reg micra that had the ability to repaire its self
go buy the mag and read hes letter, the guy couldnt be further from the truth

I read this letter and actually think he has a valid point. Ok maybe lessened this with the reliability s
gging, but the rest read true to me. If TVR had thought thier model strategy through a little better and offered something to temp "normal" buyers to the marque they may have still been in production today..?
ok those who relish the fact the cars are a little wayward can take solace in they are owning the like of which may never be produced again but its probably a selfish standpiont. I'd much rather have seen TVR to have continued to make cars. Alternatley maybe they just didnt have it in them to do that.

There are niggles and there are niggles that really get under our skin.
Ive had both, but its all part of the learning curve and knowing all about the model you own and the issues and fixes. To be honest most of the easy fixes never seemed to get to the dealer network, and even some of the daler nework were not up to servicing a mini never mind a TVR. So shortcuts occur,customers get fed up and moan about TVR for ever in a day.
I am wise enough to know that there are great dealers out there and poor ones in all makes of car. Worst service ever was at a Ford Dealer.
Write in to EVO and tell them how good your TVR car is.

Is a PH member - gridgway - sold his Tam few years ago (apparently having no probs!) - for a Porker.
Maybe feels need to justify himself.
Have to say that although his reply was ridiculously OTT, the EVO article probably encouraged responses like this as it wasn't exactly balanced IMO, and has rather dented my faith on other Buying Guides they've done, which I normally keep for future reference.
They should have asked the many owners who've had theirs a lot longer to pick up on the minor glitches that inevitably crop up.
