Just Nearly Killed Myself

Just had the Sag back from Automedon following 12K service and fitment of 3.91 diff (from 3.4X). First time I pressed the loud pedal in second I VERY VERY nearly lost it.

It is now F*CK me quicker than before. Only driven a few miles so will report back further. But so far, so good. Will probably now have to learn to drive properly.

They also mentioned the fact that I have the CR gearbox, which was not specified when new and was not on the paperwork when I bought it. I thought it was a specific cost option on a Sag?

Also a thumbs up to Automedon for completing the service with a few nice extras (Eg repairing drivers mat) thrown in, with super cheap collection /delivery (Macclesfield to Blackpool and back £55 + petrol).

Done a few jobs for me now and thoroughly recommended.

Have you got the quaife ATB as well? Fantastic bit of kit on the T350R racer.

No I didn't do that..
Apparently Hydratrak (my original one wasn't even though it was apparently standard fitment on Sags), perhaps didn't do as much research as I should have done

Thanks, we had a fun weekend.

The 3.91 makes a huge difference with the T5 dogbox which has a tall 1st (60mph) then nice even ratios to a max 150mph.

Congrats on the 3.9 diff, it does make one hell of a difference, with a real . The close ratio box was an extra from the factory, so you've done well there. It was probably the case of its all we,ve got stock so fit it. You'll soon get use to it, Have fun!

I've left the invoice in the office the diff is about 1250 inc vat fitted

The CR box came with the car from new (I bought it new from ciceley)

I wasn't told it was fitted with one when I bought it and I never asked anyone to check subsequently (until now)

As a combination: it's eager to say the least.

3 weeks ago I had a c/r box internals fitted & my 3.7 diff changed for a 3.9

should be around 2.6k all in. Had the Sag done last year at topcats who did a really good job
