T350c Rear Windows and Front Light Seals...........

Only had my T350 for 2 weeks now, but have noticed that the rear windows don't appear to be sealed properly, there seems to be air gaps or maybe its water between the glass and the black surround.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Can they be resealed? Who can I get to repair/reseal them?

I also have a problem with the seal on the front lights, they both let in moisture and one has a lot of dust in it. Can these be removed and resealed easily without damaging the paintwork?

Any advice would be appreciated

Yep, these can all be resealed. Had one rear window and both front lenses done over the time I've owned my T350. Henley have done both for me in the past - and David Batty just re-did a headlight lens about 2 weeks ago. (I've given up with 'dealer' servicing and now take my car back to David, who used to look after my Chim previously.)

Henley always told me they wanted to have a replacement lens in stock just in case they broke one. David told me that they've replaced loads and never broken one. I think it's relatively straight forward a job, it just requires care and not to rush it.

What sort of prices and I looking at for resealing the window? and the front light?

The dealer that I took it too regarding resealing the front lights said that I may need a front end respray as it would probably damage the paintwork.

Where abouts is David Batty?

had the same thing with my T350, i took the lens off and broke them , new ones are about 50 quid each from TVR power , they dont come with the black edgeing so needed to spray them my self, replaced with stuff called sica flex . if there is no muck inside , then i would leave the lenses on , reseal the edges with sica flex, the condensation seems to come in from the back from the light pods, as when i took the lenses off one of mine fell out and it had only been stuck in with araldite , so resealed it and now no condensation either. Fiddly job !

Not sure on the rear windows - is the black paint coming away from the edges - i think these are also polycarbonate?

Hi Jamie,

I have a Laser Blue T350c, only had it a couple of weeks, I am in Lowestoft.

We are off out for a run with the Suffolk and Norfolk TVRCC tomorrow, to meet up for lunch up near Acle. So may see you out and about.

I knew of 2 other local T350's but from what I hear they have been sold on.
