1. The headers are Tuscan 'S' / Sagaris spec made up in stainless steel,
2. The cars de-catted and fitted with NTEL's (PH name) stainless steel de-cat pipes which are excellent quality and have really improved the sound of the exhaust (shameless plug over).
3. The remainder of the exhaust system is stainless steel and is straight through, of larger bore with cherry bomb silencers. It was made up by Hayward & Scott (in Basildon) who are basically the dogs when it comes to custom systems.
The engine breathes easier, there is more torque low down in particular and I shall be putting back on the dyno shortly to see what difference it has made.

On that short clip, I didn't get the revs past 3k. Once the revs rise the sound changes completely into an extremely loud roar. It's not the best sound that I've heard from a SP6 but it does sound like the spawn of Satan - I didn't change the exhaust over for the sound anyway, it was more for performance and aesthetics as I didn't like the pipes poking so far out the back. I'm off to Chatsworth this weekend and hope to shoot a bit of footage with the car being put through its paces. nice one!

I still get the pops and bangs but they are lower in tone now and not so frequent. I found the previous JP system a bit tiresome as the pops and bangs were a bit too high pitched for my liking.got some new pipes on the back so watch out for us at chatsworth

It's far from quiet. At low revs it has a much deeper rumble now compared to my old JP system. The old JP system I had metered at 115db at 5.5k revs. It was much louder on full chat of course. The new system is way louder at higher revs but more civilised at 3k revs and below, which is where I do a lot of my town driving as the the car now has much more torque lower down.A bit more footage - this time on the move with the windows up and below 6k revs.
