Alloy radiator?

Hi!
My car is in for a service at the moment and needs a new radiator (second one in 2 years). Am considering getting the alloy one from leven.
Does anyone have any experience of the alloy ones?
Do they last longer or give better cooling?
Got to phone them back in a few hours to let them know.

I also need a new radiator, the alloy ones apparently last longer as they aren't made out of chocolate but i don't know if there is any cooling benefit, i'd also be interested to know.

I've just had one fitted and it hasn't given any cooling benefits in the way of lower temps. It does look better and I was told that its built better and last longer (cross fingers).

I've had one fitted for a year, got it from TVR parts. Much better build quality and will last forever. They are supposed to be more efficent on the cooling, but I havent noticed any differance. If you need a replacement, then the ali one is the best option.

Had an alloy one fitted about 6 weeks ago. Seems to be running a few degrees cooler, although difficult to be too sure as the weather hasn't exactly been hot! Definately looks better than the original rad though - You get a fantastic view if you lie on the floor and crane your neck at a jaunty 45 degree angle!
