T350 driver side rear window replacement!

Hi all,
Decided to take T350c to work today hoping for nice weather and an early finish but while using quite a bit of the loud pedal, with very little notice, the drivers side rear window blew out!!

Anyone know the best place to get a replacement and an approx price?

I have not heard of anyone else having this problem. There is usually some notice with an increase in air / wind noise whih gives people an oppportunity to re-seal the window in.

Straightforward enough repair as the risky bit - removing the old window - has been taken care of.

As you're in the north east I'd have thought HHC would be able to sort you out. Otherwise talk to Mick at Drivestyle, in Harrogate. He did mine when it delaminated, perfect job. I'd expect the final cost to be in the £100-150 region as the glass alone is around £75.

Hi Earlyriser,

Both of my rear side windows have delaminated, did they manage to repair yours or did you have to have it replaced.

Cheers earlyriser but you were too late. Not 30 minutes after i firsted started this topic Tony from HHC rang me and as a result he has ordered me one. Expected to be in within a few working days for approx. £60 i think he said + Autoglass to seal it in.
As usual HHC comes up with the goods!!

Mine was replaced as part of 'other works' and therefore on insurance. You are seldom able to repair them, I believe, as the physical act of removing the unit breaks the glass - theres a lot of bonding on there. My nsr has also delaminated a bit, but I was advised not to bother unless it starts to leak because there is no guarantee that it won't delaminate again after the repair. Personal choice, I guess, depending on how badly affected they are. From the above it sounds like it might be a bit cheaper than I thought, anyway.
