Im thinking of trying to beef up the sounds in the T350 as simply as possible without spending £££ as most of the time I want to hear the lovely sp6 noise.
My main concern is that there is no bass from the little speakers in the back. Im not looking for High end SQ so thought about simply adding a slimline active subwoofer behind the drivers/passenger seat to introduce a bit of bass.
How easy are these to fit, and anyone done similar? or is the general concensus to stay away from them?

I have put two focal 8" speakers in the back of my Tam to replace the standard ones. I have powered them by a JL amplifier and the sound is amazing. Because they are 8" speakers they act as subs them selves.
Have you got any pictures of your setup? Id certainly look at that option if it is going to add a bit of punch to the inside of the T350 - opefuuly there are no fitting issues with the difference from the tam to the T350The only thing I don't know about is fitting them into the 350. I havn't got any photos to post at the mo but there isn't much to look at on purpose. They are round 8" speakers and literally replace the existing ones(same place just with bigger holes). The idea was to get the best sound I could by leaving it as standard looking as I could so I don't get some chavy t

t breaking in for them. You are more than welcome a listen. Where abouts are you?If my memory serves me correctly I think its not possible to expand the holes in the T350 as the boot solenoid fouls the speakers but I am sure someone much more knowledgable will be able to confirm that for me.

One of the best sounding/fitting stereos i ever had was in my T350 by the factory. They built a forward rear bulk in ply a 45 channel amp and DAB tuner on rear boot floor with ply carpeted and TVr air vents to aid ventilation. I even had a Sub cover with the TVR logo engraved on it. The doors were adapted to take bigger speakers it sounded brill till I got my JP exhaust fitted!
This is what I have got in my car (it is located on the rear bulkhead behind the passenger seat):

I also have upgraded the rear speakers for 17cm components, and have fitted some tweeters in the door cards in the front. This is all run from a Pioneer AVIC x1r sat nav head unit.
It sounds pretty good, not as good as say the Bose system in an Audi but much better than standard!!

I think I may just add one of those and see how I then need to beef up the rear speakers, with some tweeters in the front perhaps.
It is pretty good more than happy with it (size, weight and sound), easy to install just take your RCA leads and a 12v power supply (I took this from behind the head unit, and ran all the cables to the rear along the trans tunnel) I will try and get some photos.
The sub comes with everything you need (bar the RCA leads), I took the near side rear wheel off and bolted it through the bulkhead. Took me an afternoon.
You will need to make sure your head unit has a filter to stop the base going the rear speakers (High pass filter)
