carbonfibre cam cover insert for the SP6

Just recently purchased one of the carbon fibre cam covers,apart from the 3 screws, is it just the sealant that holds it on, it's a right T**t to get off!
what's the best way to get it off?
is it easier when engine is hot?

Yes just remove the three nuts, then with a sharp Stanley knife carefully cut the silicon seal between spark plug cover and cam cover. At the back of the cover near the bulkhead theres a gap where the HT leads enter, reach under there and give a short sharp pull up.
Worked for me.
