Door switch under the wing mirror

How do I get into the wing mirror. The wing mirror appears to be glued together. Do you have to take the glass out first??????

I need to check the wiring out on the door switch, as my door keeps opening when moving

Not sure if I'm on the right track, but the door switch is disabled above a certain road speed, so this is unlikely to be the problem unless it's happening at very low speed.

If you do need to get into the mirror I think there's a small release catch at the bottom of the mirror glass (in the centre), that needs to be pushed to one side with a screwdriver. Either that or the glass just pops off with a very careful application of force (perhaps someone else can clarify?).

Once the glass is off, you can access screws to disassemble the mirrors and get to the switch.

I think this has been brought up before, does your door open when you are moving ramdomly or is it when you first put it into gear etc?
