Evening all.

After using my 350 alot this weekend i started to notice the revs dont drop actually go up when you dip the clutch. Its the pedal that hasnt got great movement. Is there any easy fix or send it to RG ???

Sticking throttle cable? Check its routing and that it isn't snagging.

it doesnt seem to be that. It seems to be the peddle its self not coming back up quick enough.

Surely that is caused by the cable snagging somewhere? Or the pedal box being damaged in some way to prevent free movement?

RG have given me a new cable so im going to try and fit on sunday (are they easy to fit???)

Throttle cable TVR part E4244;


Remove the air box completely first,



At the engine remove the R clip and pin, then the clevis, and undo the locknuts.

Make a note on the routing first, then with draw cable down from the bracket.

Inside on the pedal box remove the three aluminium kick plate screws and two pedal stops



Rotate the knuckle to release the cable & spring. Re-fit the pedal end first. Bend the tab(yellow arrow) that holds the cable at the pedal end up by about 3mm to stop the cable from braking again

You have set a fantastic standard.
Dirty Orange is soon off to Surface and Design etc etc for some long overdue TLC. Don't think I will quite reach that level, but it will be a vast improvement on current state. Having said that, 40K + on the clock is not too bad.

well we stood there with a pint uming and rrring and we took the air box of and the spring was so loose. quick fix back together took it down the rd and change gear at 2000rpm dip the clutch and revs went upto 3000rpm

This happens to me too, but it seems only when I have 98 octane in the car! never happened with V power or 95. and it's not all the time, only when hot too. Could just be coincindence. It's definately not the cable or pedal on mine, I've already removed and cleaned all parts. next thing to look at is air leaks for me.

well she is booked in for thursday so I will let you know the outcome. Now just got to get the door fixed so I can get in it

Well all fixed. They took the peddle box out changed the cable and cleaned up all the springs. So So So much better now.

Now the dahs is playing up
