Rear brake Calipers

anyone out there who has converted the rear brake calipers/disks on a sagaris,i have made an approach to a well respected Indie in the North west about this, at this time they are struggling to find a Caliper that will fit the disk as the disk is a TVR own.
I know the ones fitted are more than capable of doing the job but personally i think they look sh*t compared to the front calipers. !

If it is just for aesthetic reasons fine but if you need more biasing for wet weather example you would be better off with this. It works extremely well, you will notice the difference immediately especially if you have beefed up the front.

I believe the rear calipers are off the cosworth

I have fitted FJ 900 320mm discs on seperate bells to the back of my Tuscan . I have used the mk4 astra caliper which is a single pot sliding caliper similar to the TVR (Ford) but alloy. The combination saves weight on the disc and the caliper and looks better inside the wheel , I will post a picture tomorrow , David

I have been told that the rear caliper is from the sierra cosworth, there is a replacment for the cosworth from a caliper company called "high spec", however i've been informed that it's the disk that won't take the replacment caliper in that the disk isn't a cosworth one and a TVR own, and due to this there would be an amount of re engineering that will need doing to fit.
would it be possible to fit new disks in order to take a new caliper??

The rear brakes are more than capable of handling what they need to, its the front's i'd be spending time and money on upgrading if your tracking it and need more stopping power, alternatively your just bored and have money to burn, i get that sometimes...

Leave the rears alone other than installing decent pads. A standard T350 or Tamora is much more stable under braking than a car with a full RR upgrade (fronts and rears).
