Returning ex-T350 owner (whats it like these days?)

Hello there.

Been kicking my kneels away from TVR for a couple of years. Was the proud owner of a T350 back then and now finding myselfs browsing PH again and looking at the classifieds (grrrrrrr... should be decorating).

I live pretty close to Silverstone so I was hoping to use those chaps again for servicing (I used to go there while they were an offical TVR dealer - excellent place I thought).

Guess my question boils down to: is there anything (trim, badges, wheels etc etc) that are either impossible or difficult to replace these days. Are you guys still able to keep your cars in 1st class condition?

not had any problems getting parts, Theres actually been quite a few companys now producing fancy or upgraded aftermarket parts such as wheels/carbon airbox's/fancy diffs/shocks right down to enamel badges that don't corrode etc etc so its all good

I haven't had any problems yet, always found someone that can get hold of parts.

Have seen the new badge plinths but not come across enamel badges.....unless you mean the ones in this forum that just have T350 on them?

My original badges are currently being refurbished and I am hoping to have them matching the body colour and still use the original T350c logo. But will have to wait and see how they turn out.

yeh was just commenting that aswell as standard parts there are people who seem to be making/having things made up through personal contacts in the industry which are an improvement over standard bits...

I was just hoping you might have known someone else making replacement badges with the T350c logo and the TVR logo.

Nope, other than the ones someone is selling on here i don't know of any, TVRPowers bodyshop took my old one and stripped the old chrome paint off and sprayed it matt black, it looks much better, will post a picture when i get home from this rig/rust heap.

Thank you for the replies chaps. Guess all thats left is to find the perfect car (that and convince the other half of my brain that owning a TVR again is a really good idea - is this how women who have given birth feel?)

I knew they were making a replacement for the badge plinth, hopefully they will be better quality than the old ones......let me know what you think of them when you get them.
