Sagaris Alarm Sensitivity

Is there anyway to increase or decrease the sensitivity on the alarm system on the Sagaris ?

any thoughts on this ? If i even look at my car from a distance now the alarm goes off...

There is a sensor which sits somewhere in the centre console. The sensitivity can be adjusted I am told.
