sagaris at this years TOTB

My Sagaris unfortunately had to be withdrawn from TOTB this week. The engine is complete with modifications & Supercharger which has been done By Jason Clegg at STR8-6. However, the air intake which is made out of carbon fibre isn't which replaces the front flap on the inspection bonnet, then painted to match the car. This is being made by Prodrive, to be honest Prodrive have took forever to complete & has delayed the completion of the conversion which is very frustrating for Jason & myself...

No not at all.
Still going on Sunday though, the lad who's arranges their event has been very sympathetic & luckily put the car in for next year as he is a TVR fan & was looking forward to it competing due to the spec especially. I'm hoping I will get it back ready for the Fighting Torque event next month but doubt it. Might get to the Ring in the car during September, that should be fun...
Are you going on Sunday? I cant wait to see the 800bhp Granada & hope it's the Sweeney shape too!!!

Yeah Im racing in a mid engined RWD mk3 polo coupe ! . I have been to most of the TOTB events and the granada is superb ! Its pea green and is an old shaped granada. Shame it's not running - I was really looking forward to seeing what it would do. Good luck getting it finished.
Hopefully we'll see you there next time. I work (if you can call it that) at TOTB every year, wandering round with camera and dayglow vest. The Granada's a Professionals shape, but you should see it shift...

However, looking at the line up it would be walloped by the looks of it by most of the cars, it would of made my day lining up against the Pea Green Granada in a shootout. In the end it's a shame it can't be there as would & will give a bit of cred back to TVR when completed...

was at the mopar nats at santapod on friday and then upto TOTB with ('stevieturbo' as he posts here occassionally) the guy with the S/C LS1 engine in his stelth granada, he did great at the pod finally cracking the 10's for the first time - 9.85@ (about 146mph) and managed 3rd overall top speed at totb 181mph over a standing 1km run, he made the 1/4 mile shootouts in the RWD class, and ran a 55 second handling lap
temps were very high at both events, so looking good for improved times with cooler weather. There did seem to be quite a few big HP cars missing this year
