Rar Silencer for T350/Tamora

DIY'ers,

Anyone with a bit of exhaust experience could advise if this
item will fit without 'frigging', a Tamora '04 ?

no idea if it will fit, but i did not know that the actual back box was different on red roses i thought it was an engine and break upgrade as well as the lighter body...

I had heard that the metal lugs that go in the hangers were not in the same place on the T350 and the Tamora, a search may confirm this.

I also think the pipes that run the length of the car underneath are a bigger diameter for a RR hence where the seller mentions "If you have the standard (smaller dia) system fitted you will have to make up a 'sleeve' at the end of your existing pipes to make it fit or use some other method to get a good seal."

Again I would double check this.

Hi Gary,

looking at the emission test report, it states different part numbers for the rear silencer box:

• Tamora: SO 652
• T350: SO 674

They look a little different, too. I suspect it's not a direct replacement. Apart from that, all exhaust parts do have the same numbers.

Anyone know what the reference 'SO680' relates to? I bought a standard back box on Ebay and it has this code on rather than either of the two code listed here. I am going to try it out as the Powers cans and big bore centre pipes were a bit loud after 8 hours driving going down to the south of France Although saying that we did work out a better luggage packing system and gave the ears a break every couple of hours so may not need it. Going to give it a try though and see what it is like as a comparison. The diameter of the connecting pipes looks bigger than this standard one I have seen on ebay

The hanger positions/orientation are different for the Tamora & T350 so the add is not strictly correct it will fit one or the other not both so its important to know which you are buying!

Looking at the code on that one, it looks like it is for a standard T350. The code on the one I have bought is different again (SO680) and it is sounding like it is the standard exhaust for the T350 red rose with larger bore centre pipes....
