Just digging around like you do, although I have a '04 Tam
always looking for a potential upgrade and spotted this.

Cheap as chips with good spec and low mileage but shame it is a Cat. C and
reading up it is a little bit of a concern as to the nature of Category.
And will never lose it's badging as a repaired car.

GRP cars usually do get a higher classification (C rather than D) when a car has had a bump due to the cost of repair.

I would check the car out properly and find out who did the repair. If they are reputable, then it wouldn't bother me too much - providing the car came at a lower price.

Have a look at it. Try and get some pics of the damage - you'll probably find its not half as bad as what you may think.

Other than the previous bump and associated repair, have a good look at the rest of the car - it could be a better proposition than a car that is not on the HPI register.

I know nothing of that particular car but EU reg plus shields on the number plates suggests some affinity with Castle TVR at Stansted. Worth giving them a call and see what they know of it?
