T350 Seatbelt Issue

Hi all

Just noticed a bit of a problem with the drivers seatbelt on my 2004 T350C.

Went to plug in my seatbelt to the receptacle as normal and realised that all the plastic housing has cracked around the receptacle which is very worrying! The seatbelt still functions fine and holds the belt in place when fastened but it is obvious that this would be an MOT failure and it is definitely not safe.

Are these easy to replace and are the seatbelt receptacles a standard size and fit? (Ive never taken my seats out so dont know)

Hi Stu

Mine was recently damaged by a certain Fu--ing idiot at a so called specialist TVR garage mate. In the end Martin @ RG supplied and fitted 2 new one's mate. I think approx 1 hour's labour or there about. Also the new one's fitted are an extra 20mm in lenght, so easier to clip into. I had both sides done due to wanting to be a little safer.

ah perfect - what sort of money are you talking for these?

Approx £31.00 each buckle plus labour charge mate. I think it was approx 1 or 1.5 hours off memory.
