Rolex Blue Paint Code - HELP PLEASE

Hi guys,

can anybody supply paint code/info for Rolex Blue paint (which appears purple to me)?

I have been told its a BMW paint and seem to notice a few Minis buzzing round whcih seem to be the same colour as my T350.

I had similar problems with my Laser Blue Metallic Sagaris (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=7&t=555490&nmt=TVR%20Sagaris%20Laser%20Blue%20Metallic%20Paint%20Code ).

I got the bodyshop to speak to my local TVR dealer (Dreadnought) and they gave the paint code (B85 - Lotus Code for Laser Blue Metallic).

Once the body shop has the code they can get the colour for you.

I had a look at http://www.sxcolor.info/scripts/colorinfo.dll/getp... under BMW but didn't see any Rolex there. I tried a general search under Rolex but it only came up with Porsche Rolex Green - so TVR MAY have renamed the colour?

I suggest you try your local dealer.

rolex blue is bmw 284.

tvr rolex blue codes tvr054, 201 or r2846 are bmw 284 and bmw call it amethyst. ici/nexa paint code 9HN5B, ppg paint code PPG020, rm paint code TVR054
