That does not look like the fire has been the primary cause of the cars demise.

Agreed, looks like several things including an impact of some kind. The back doesnt just fall off.

You can clearly see the door impact bars and the screen surround roll bar in these pics - useful for those who were wondering.

Hope the owner of this car wasn't hurt and is back enjoying another TVR by now...

I saw that on Ebay and rang them up for the headlight covers (not too willing to pay 100 quid for new ones).

The car caught fire and wasn't in an accident.

Apparently DV have a lot of Tivs which have been fire damaged but it's not restricted to any particular model type.

As I posted before, I've modified the battery compartment in my Tam.

I disagree, if the bit in the middle has burnt away then the back will just drop off. There's no sign of any impact damage so that's just a fire imo.
