A few minor Sag prob's

I've got an early Sag which has now starting saying on the display at start up - 'clock failure'. Presumably this is a battery that needs replacing somewhere? If so, is it relatively simple to do or is it time to visit the dealer?

Also, the Speedo has decided to stop working following an epic journey yesterday through torrential rain, with some pretty major aquaplaning. I'm presumming the transducer is at fault and I have one somewhere off a Tuscan. Are they the same for Tuscan as Sagaris?

IIRC there is a small battery in the dash pod. Not sure of the type or where it is though.

Transducer, mine got very wet in the same circumstances as yours, dried it out and it worked fine for about a month, then failed again. The early cars have a non-sealed transducer - TVR Power have done a new one where the unit is sealed to water ingress. Worked fine (and I have been out in mine int he bad weather).

My speedo went on the way back from collecting it in a thunderstorm (classic uphill on a motorway and you can`t tell where any lanes are because of the river thats coming at you..)

For some reason the rain caused it to move and it was a simple matter of moving the sensor a little closer again (iirc it was unside down too..)

Try that first before getting a new sensor, easy enough to move it back..
