rear diffuser fixings

anybody know the type of fixings used to bolt the diffuser to the rear of the car, i have a couple gone astray.
Also the correct M thread of the bolts.

I have lost one of mine too! I contacted Racing Green who were going to ID them and get back to me....they didnt.

they're M6 allen bolts. I replaced mine with M6 x 20 stainless ones.

Had the same issue with my rear spoiler.

Original fixings were M6 nuts, these were rivetted into the GRP. When removing the bolts and if any corrision was present the nut could be ripped out, leave a blank hole about 10 mm diamter. It's almost impossible to gain access from inside the car to replace these fixings or fit an alternative.

After much searching around and head scratching I eventually settled for expandable bolts which are used in plasterboard walls. These can be obtained in varying sizes and come pre-galvanised. Sure there are plenty of other options, but these have worked for me..

You could also try "Rawlnuts" (I think that is the name). Does the same job but they are made of rubber so won't damage the fibreglass. Ask at you local nut and bolt supplire. Or you could try here http://www.fastfixdirect.co.uk/code/navigation.asp...
