My Snetterton track day

Hi All
Just done my first track day in my T350t, i have done a few before but alway in Porsches.
First couple of laps taken nice and easy to learn the track and car, by about mid day starting to get to grips with the handling and power.
So so different than the Porsche, you can go really mad in the Porsche and look like Senna the TVR takes a bit more skill and patience.
That said when you get the hang of it i think it will be more rewarding, i am not quite there yet!
I had a few hairy moments but nothing to extreme however my mate had a go with me in the passenger seat (he managed to blow the engine up in his Porsche, so i thought it only fair to give him a go in mine) on the second lap he applied to much power coming out of a bend and spun the car close to 8 times, didnt hit anything as there was a long run out of grass, this was his first time driving a TVR and i think he was a bit shocked at the power.(last time driving mine)
Strange day in that there were alot of smashed cars and broken engines, no injuries.
No other TVRs on the day but a few people either owned a TVR or had done and were interested in my car, nothing but compliments, which was nice as there was a lot of machinery on the day including a lovely Lamborgini.
The drive back (about 3hrs) was much more relaxed and the car seemed very at ease, the brakes seem to work better too, they were a little juddery before and had alway been so ever since i bought the car, David Hendty did check the brakes and said they were fine so i just put it down to the TVR. However i think with all the all hard braking it has bed them in nicely and they are as smooth as anything i have driven now.
I was also a lot more confident at higher speeds as it can feel a little twitchy, i now understands the dynamics more and feel a lot more comfortable.
So the car didnt miss a beat and in fact improved as the day went on as the brakes became smoother, i got faster, i still have a long way to go but am enjoying the journey still which is the most important part.
