Tamora Dimensions

Had the joy in June of taking the Rio Prestige Sag, for a short tour of Scotland, then used it as my wedding car in June.

However it planted a rather deep seed, which may need sowing come the spring.

I've decided to take the leap of looking at a Tamora, and have a few quick questions.

1) Are early 2001 Tamora's exempt from the higher bands of Tax (or are all TVR's due to it being a small company?)

2) My garage is 2380mm wide. The Tamora will fit in as its 1715mm wide... but will I be able to open the door and get out? (Im a fairly small blokme in stature if that helps)?

All are in the lower band of tax on engine size alone so no probs there.

I have a single garage and I can't get in and out of my Tamora so I park outside line it up and push it in and push it out again it's not heavy so don't cause me any problems.

I have heard of other people doing this to just helps if you don't live on a hill. Do you know how much tax will be on t350's after the taxes are raised?

Cheers Barry. I did consider that, but was not sure if A) I was mad to think it, or B) I would look like a loon. At least I know I will not be the only one who does it.

Just need to find a local TVR dealer/service centre in South London/Kent, and I can begin the search.

My garage is pretty narrow. Tam fits in ok and if it is tight up to the nearside I can even get out!

Tax is £185. I understand it will be going up to £200 next year. bds! Should be in the £440 band, though.

Have just built new double garage, 5,50 m wide but b4 I did the following
Went to local upholsterer and bought 2 sqm of soft foam and nailed it to right side of garage, then put and empty old milk bottle on a string from ceiling in left side (checked with push exercise once that all fits nicely), from then on no prob dor against fom so no scratching/banging
