Toyo Tyres & replacement heater flap motor

Anybody tell me what the difference between TOYO proxes T1-S (which I have front & Rear) & T1-R varients please. Need to replace the back tyres on my Tam but I can only find T1-R's for sale. Is it OK to mix types so long as I keep them in pairs?

Also need to get the motor replaced that drives the heater flap as it seems buggered I keep getting error code 24. Have been quoted 90 mins labour £112.50 + £67 for the motor from a TVR dealer is that about right or am I having my pants pulled down? I live in Dunstable so looking for somewhere not too far away.

Hi, I have T1-R'a on the front and T1-S on the back and they seem the same apart from a slightly different tread pattern. T1-R's grip just as well if not better than the T1-S. I dont think they make the S anymore so just going to run the rears till they need replacing and then I will run R's all round.

Flap motor;
££ sounds OK, its a pain of a job, but make sure dealer set correctly so no hot air comes into cabin when cold selected.
Factory flap zero setting 16, but may vary.

think the T1-Rs are a bit stiffer in the sidewall, which has to be a good thing. just bought 4 from camskill, so we'll see how they perform.
