Hi all. I have just my Sagaris accepted as one of the show cars at the Pistonheadsshow. Its one of three, so who else is showing theirs?

I had my Sag accepted last year with the promise of a full zymol detailing.

I took a day off work, drove it down (£80 fuel), got someone to pick me up and had to get someone to take me to collect it.

Surprise surprise it hadnt been detailed at all, neither had 90% of the other cars on show, what a rip off, i contacted PH organisers several times but never got any reply. I was well pissed off to say the least.

The PH show cars were all shoe horned into the far corner of of the furthest hall, pretty crap all in all

I have ha a car there as well and it came back scratched, I would not leave a car at a show like that again.

took my sag last year kam,was not impressed with the running of that side of the show too.was on tender hooks all the time,plastic chain-link was all that stopped the so called puplic from getting near to your car.came back on many times over the days to find the chain broken,hand and finger prints all over and kids leaning on it.no free clean either,just aswell me and dan spent a couple of hours doing it our selfs before the show.just a chosen few was on a special stand,the rest of us was like being at a car auction.you have been warned.

Could be best to leave the car unwashed for a couple of weeks prior to the show, then they'll at least have to clean it and might go all the way...

good idea but when you get promised a free clean, you think yeah why not but its a scam to get you to show your car.

Yeh, it is a bit naughty. By the way, I would never let anyone else wash my car! My wife's 10 year old niece stayed with us for a while, and my wife got her to stand next to my car with a bucket of soapy and a sponge, just to see the look on my face! ha ha! Luckily I clocked it was a wind up fairly quickly!

My griff was their last year, they've contacted me again, but i no longer own it, so they are taking the new beastie instead, YELLOW Sagairs, It was a bit of a poor show last year and looked very much like a auction, I'll try again this year but it must improve.
