Passenger Window Help

Does anyone know if the passenger window on T350's goes all the way down flush with the stainless steel door trim? (I guess Tams / Sags would be the same?

Mine seems to stay 2" above the trim, but goes fully down on the driver's side. Not really opened this window much before, but had some work done that side and it's bugging me now

The windows on my TAm go all the way down. Why not pop the door card off and have a look inside the door? Easy job. 3 bolts on the underside of the door if its the same as the Tamora. You can see the window mechanism and get access to it quite easy.

Both my passenger and drivers windows stop about 2" from the bottom....thought that was the norm, maybe its not.....another thing to add to the growing list of things to get checked.

Same here, and my list is growing out of control!

All the way down on my t350c 54 reg, if i rememeber correctly when i replaced the door control ecus, the windows acted strange until I reset the alarm and turned the ignition on and off.
Maybe TVR used different mechanisims in some and not in others......wouldnt suprise as anything is possible.

No idea but mine both stop 2" above the door, i thought that was the norm aswell.

It's still in there, i said to Jason to leave it until i get back mid December. He's changing the HT leads and doing some other bits, hopefully it should be ready for when i'm back.

Maybe it differs to the age of the car? Mine is an 04 and it goes right down both sides?

Mine is in 06 and stays up 2" both sides

OMG That's a brand new can of worms I've opened. Mine is an '05 and one fully down, one partially up

Right down here too. Maybe there is some kind of threaded adjuster to fiddle with which tells the window motor when to stop? Its easy enough to take the door card off and watch it working. There is something similar to control how far up the window goes/stops. (Does anyone else find it a PITA not being able to raise the window with the door open? - I understand why, but even so...)

but I can raise window up with the door open! Just as well because the N/S window doesn't drop a bit when you open and close the door like the drivers side. Anyone know how to fix this?

micro switch in door or break in the loom or control box fault/needs a reset (in the footwell) maybe?. Does the alarm beep if you try to set it with the door open, do you get the error for open door when the ignition is on? Also the reading light won't work would all point to the car not 'seeing' the position of the door. Switch is cheap if its broken £10 ish not too hard to change so long as you can get the cover plate off the lock....

Oh and my windows go up and down with the doors open or closed

Both mine (2004 T350) go all the way down, although both go back up a couple of inches if i open then close the door. Will go back down if i press the button.

Thanks for you help, will take a look at the weekend. Alarm etc all OK so I think it is seeing the position of the door. Will have a fiddle with it and see what happens. I need to find the leak thats making my carpet damp too.

You can get them from RS componants (look on their web site), about 4 quid but they charge a tenner for postage/stocking as they are a non stock item so I would get a couple. Part# is 83-186 with 1" flat arm, made by crouzet IIRC
