Decats/Gaz Golds

Well its almost service time again and I'm thinking about getting the new Gaz Gold Coilover's for the T350.. Anyone had any experience with them?

Also, I currently have a JP exhaust, and quite fancy it a bit louder, would decats make it too loud? Anyone again got this set up?

Fitted Gaz Golds to my 2001 Tuscan, transformed the ride and handling. I would also consider Bilsteins as fitted to Sagaris.

I am getting Sag decatted at Hexham in a couple of weeks time, get the NTEL decats, their is a thread a couple of days old on here. Are you not concerned about noise levels for track days, I scraped onto the Ring at 99dB, there was 2 Tamora's banned at 114dB.. Decat Sag 106dB and Knockhill set to introduce 105dB limit.

Have received info from ACT and I can get trackday tailpipes that run at 95dB

Decats with the sports exhaust make it LOUD. Great for the road but even after fitting the standard back box it registered 98db, enough for a black flag at Zolder. Now running PDQ decats with Blueflame exhaust which sounds fabulous but not lunatic and hoping the decibel killers might make it ok for trackdays.

Did you make it onto the Ring? We pitched up with 10 Tiv's in tow and immediately alerted the noise police

I got one and a half laps done On Saturday, went on down at Ardnau (sp) and stayed on for a further full lap. The the Sunday the morning the sound checked me

Will decats make it really boomy on the motorway?

I fitted regular Gaz shocks to the rear of my Chim 400, what a transformation, setting was 25, also same setting for my friends Chim 500. I will probably change to Gaz on my T350T.

I had my T350T decatted and it sounds great. I do not do track days so do not care about the decibels, I get loads of smiles per gallon. The decats were from Edward Quick, supplied by Paul and Haeth at X Works Service, Kirkham (Lancashire PR4 2BB t: 01772 685 245 ). They were things of beauty, pity they are hidden beneath the car really!

I had Gaz Gold Pros fitted to my T350 3 weeks ago. Completely transformed the car. Not only that, it's dropped it by about 1.5 inches - it's now a speedhump sniffer!

Gaz gold are fitted to my tam, made a very noticable difference. Only down side is you have to keep the adjustment knobs clean and spray with WD40 or they can seize up.

Just fitted Gaz Golds to mine as well so far very good but the car needs a full geo set up to get the best out of it.
