T350 Headlight problem

Two nights ago, the headlights on my T350 failed. I started the car, put them on, then they went off. Was late at night, so called the RAC and they couldnt find a problem..

The fuses were ok, and the rear lights came on, so don't think it is anything to do with the stalk. Could it be possible they both blew at the same time? I have HID's fitted..

What would you recommend? Get another set? Or try a set of brighter 'normal' bulbs?

Also which bulbs do the rear's use? One of mine is out..

I was going to go the same route as you with having a HID kit fitted. But decided against it and went with the less complicated route of changing the bulbs for better quality bulbs. There is definitely a visible improvement over the standard bulbs.
