Bloody T350 Lights!!!!

AAH! I was near crying/breaking yesterday trying to figure out what was wrong with my headlights on the T350.

Was in town about a week ago shopping, and went back to the car, lights on, fired the car up, and the lights both went out. It was getting dark so drove to the nearest petrol station to have a look. The bulbs (HID) both looked ok as did the fuses. So called the RAC out. He couldn't solve it either. He diagnosed it as both head lights blew at the same time.. Possibly a surge?

So anyways, yesterday I decided to get ripped in and have a look. Bought new bulbs etc, jacked up, wheels off, new bulbs fitted. Still no joy.... Revisited the fuse box, changed out two fuses and the relay solenoid. Still no joy.... I swear I was close to throwing something.

Then spotted a 3rd fuse! So changed that, and hey-presto! The lights are back working..

Long story short, TVR's are complicated!

Are these aftermarket HIDs? If so I assume the extra fuse was installed when the lights were upgraded.

Lots of people seem to have problems with upgraded lights. I think I'll stick to my standard ones - which I find perfectly adequate BTW. OK, so they're only on far with the average and dull if you're used to Xenons, but they light up the road OK for me.

I would go back to originals its more hassle than its worth
