Heater Air Vents - Where Can I Source Replacements?

I seem to have two types of vent on my 2003 T350C. Those on the dash top, near the instrument binnacle and under the glovebox have 2 flaps and work smoothly. The two in the footwells have 3 flaps and are stiff to open/close and tend to fall apart as the flap mechanism part is only held in by small plastic pins.

Can I replace them with the dash top version and if so where can I get hold of some?

There was a thread some time ago about somebody adding a vent to the top pf the dash above the radio, I think they got the vent from flea bay or you could try the breakers yard, I would guess its an odd part for somebody to request so there should be plenty knocking about from dead Tivs.

Thanks. I guess I was really trying to find out what other cars that particular 2-flap vent was fitted to so I could try to source from that manufacturer.

Yes the ones off ebay were the same as fitted to the Tiv

Sorry to bring this thread back to the top but I'm still no nearer knowing whether the 2-flap vents were made for another manufacturer or just sourced for TVR. Without that, I can't really search on eBay (except under TVR and that brings up nothing). Does anyone else know?

You will need to use the aluminium bezel as per the dash top to fit the footwells,

but the standard footwell vents are for flush mount, so the bezels may need to modified otherwise they may blank off the air flow.
