Sad day - car sold

I was kind of hoping I'd cling onto it until springtime. The new owner burlbed away up my street a few minutes ago. Sniff. T350s do look nice driving away from you.

Hope it gives the new owner as much pleasure as it has me. He's a lurker on this forum - hopefully he will announce himself now :-)

Well the money is being used in a property purchase up until June, after that I'm sure the Panda will not satisfy my appetite for performance... Maybe an R8 or a 4.7 AM V8, or stick with the Panda until 2010 if I'm not not so flush by the summer. We'll see.

P.S. I wish Audi/Aston would offer some decent colours - I don't want a black/grey/dark hue-d sports car!

I'll still be around on here plenty whatever the case.

Sorry to hear she's gone Targa, after our various posts over years about brakes/track mods etc.

Amused to see your shortlist; my everyday VX220 is fun while tiding me over until I go exactly same way but to s/hand AM or R8 if depreciation & loans permit, to avoid sacrificing the T350

Oddly, I've been looking at R8s (need to do some switching of cars due to a space problem that has occured as a result of light fingered low lifes). V10 too expensive, V8 not exciting enough...so it maybe a new RS6 avant - something more sensible...

I'd only get depressed hanging around track days without a car... mind you I'm sure the Panda would do fine at a wet Cadwell (at least on the short circuit).

New RS6 - bit 'fat' isn't it? Huge car too compared to the old A6. I've been worrying that the R8 V8 isn't enough car, we'll see. The V10 - might as well get a Gallardo (at least they come in interesting colours). I'm talking 50k worth here, not a new R8 or whatever. I know that when it comes to seriously looking that I will find most cars plain boring after 10 years of TVRs.

The RS6 would be fun tow car. The extra 130 bhp over the old car would off-set the weight I'm sure.

I drove a ABT RS6 the other day 700bhp - Hmmm f.quick.
