Last week the family waggon (of German origin), decided to die (or rather start self-controlling and triggering ABS on an A road. At speed).
I needed a car.... And could remember thinking 'thank God I don't have to take my Sag out in this weather', and complaining on here a few days before that about cleaning it.
Oh well, just thought I'd share it with you...
On the plus side, completely reliable, clean again now, and the road holding and driving experience in ice was superb - safe as banks... err... houses.... errr.... it was fine.

Candy only gets washed for special occasions - I dont have the facilites to clean her - unless its a weekend and I take her to the local car wash. Makes me cringe what they are doing to the paintwork, dont have any choice though... 
Just tend to run a tissue over the headlights and rear lights.

Think my Saggy must lay claim to the dirtiest one ever after sliding off in the wet into a sea of mud at Castle Coombe last year . I only have a mental recollection of various plants growing out from the splitters, wheel arches and so on, and of having to get down on hands and knees to scoop handfuls of mud out of the wheel rims, but it was a joy to behold.
The beauty of the spin was that I managed a full 360 spin across the grass before encountering the mud, thus managing to get a full panoramic coating of debris.
A number of people took piccies at the time so if they still have them then feel free to post them up, but there may be some camera shake as most of them were having a good laugh at the same time.
Glad to say the car is now restored to its former glory. No harm done.
