Gear selection when cold

I am having a devils own job selecting gears when the Sag is cold - especially first and reverse. Pumping the clutch seems to help but its not as smooth as it used to be. The car has only done 7k so I wouldnt have thought it would be wear and tear but you never know. I even struggle sometimes to get the car into 5th even when warm. Any suggestions or am I looking at something quite costly in the near future??

Any fluid leaks evident (cheap if master - not if slave)
Check the reservoir level
Its a bit early for broken clutch fingers. (expensive)

I thought I'd seen a mention of the duff engine mount causing gear selection issues but can't find it using search. I know T350s like to eat engine mounts. (cheapish)
