T350 Dash LCD has just died

Damn! There I was thinking "Nice dry, sunny afternoon. No work to do. Time for a bit of a hoon!".

Going through the warming up procedure when the dash LCD goes all crazy on me. Just random pixels. Shortly after, just a blank screen. I still have the analogue speedo & rev counter - good thing. Don't have access to the Oil Temp & Pressure info - bad thing.

Stop the car, and restart it (well I do work in IT ) - get the LCD functionality back for a minute or so, then the same thing. Now nothing, not even restarting the car makes a difference - just a blank LCD.

Doesn't look good. Can anyone give me some reassurance?

Sounds like the LCD has died, has happened on a few cars.. I beleive there was a group buy not so long ago and if you search its been covered a few times. The rest of the pod is working (aka needles) so no real need to worry apart from lack of information.

As for oil temps, you`ll have to use the virtual oil gauge in your head til you get it replaced

Phew, just a loose connection. Thanks to Martin at Racing Green for folding himself in half to have a look at the controller, and then reseat the connector.

So I got my hoon after all
