hi all,
just wanted to say a big thankyou to matt at sebrings cambridge

i took my tam in today for some new racing red shocks to be fitted to the rear (fronts were done 6 months ago )

he went through all the options with me for a good set up ,and i went for a all round general road use setting on his advice to suit my driving style

i also had the geometry checked and reset to suit

the weather today was s**t so i cant report on the cars handling etc but it did feel more planted than before coming down the A10

my car was starmist green when i set off at 7 am but come 2 pm A10 to M11 it turned cow sh%t brown lol terrible conditions !

anyway he gets my vote, talks through the job with you on a one to one basis, he does the work "hands on" and good sound advice what more could you ask for

Another thumbs up here - I won't use anyone else for my servicing, very honest bloke who knows what he's talking about.
The only difficult bit is getting away as I usually find myself chatting for ages with him.

purchased in October last year. Currently sans engine as the oil pump needs rebuilding but fortunately covered under warranty. Castle have been fantastic and I'd recommend them to anyone and if it wasn't for Sebring I'd be using them all the time.

Do you know the car then or go to have a look at it? I'd be interested to hear you views (good or bad) just to piece together a little more on its general history.

sorry i dont know your car so i cant help with any history , cant castles shed some info for you last owner etc ? , i'm from bishops stortford which is very near castles at stansted so i know it well
shame to hear about the engine work,but nice to know that castles are fixing it for you
out of interest how many miles on your car and how did it happen

not so sure?/ My tuscan got a 6 k there. I asked about doing the a/c as it wasnt that cold. he said he has a mobile guy to do it "great" I say. Cannot do it that day so I leave it and go to do it elsewhere. Get bonnet off and find I have NO A/C??? Now if you have just had the car up for a 6k service no a/c is not soemthing you would miss, as their is a bloody massive pump near where the oil tank is etc...

Made me wonder about the service while was off in Cambs for half the day ??

I'm sorry Al, are you saying that you didn't have AC fitted or that they didn't check it?

That's an odd one as Matt is exceptionally diligent to the point of being fussy. What's the story Al? You got charged for aircon work you didn't need (which I find hard to believe) or Matt didn't tell you.

Actually, how do you not know if you've got aircon or not?
