T350C Running Advice

Hello all,

Can someone direct me to a thread that highlights how to look after the beauty's on a daily basis?

I've seen the FAQ's but advice on engine warm up, regular maintenance etc would be useful.

I start up and go pretty much straight away, but personally i do the following:- not over 3K-rpm until oil is 40 degrees, then upto 4k-rpm until it's at 60 degrees. Hottest i see oil (when in traffic) is about 80-85 and hottest i see water is about 91 - 93 then fans kick in.

I check oil about every 500 miles. Still checking water too regularly (when the bonnet opens!), but getting used to it being lower than expected now.

Quick glance at other liquids once in a while and a check underneath from time to time to check nothings dripping!

i keep an eye on the gauges, but try to not be too addicted to them! oil temp and pressure seems to be the main ones i look at, the outside air temp is just wrong.

Clean & Drive as regularly as possible

The most important thing to do is drive it, no car likes being left alone without use and a TVR is no different

Thanks guys I just need to find the right one now, just collating the facts first as I'm not the most talented with a set of tools!

As said above running in is all about warming the oils and engine to a good temp before to much pace.

If i was you buy as good as you can get! Get it from an enthusiast that has taken the time to look after it. If your a little worried still take it to a garage (lots recommended on here depending where your from) to get a health check. I took mine for a 12k service straight away because they know what there looking for etc... peace of mind i guess.

Then Enjoy it as much as you can!!!

I would'nt listen to much to the horror storys on here it happens to every make of car.
I've had mine nearly a year now and not one problem (touch wood)
