Rocker cover off - any potential issues?

Hi,

I've had the rocker cover off my car for a couple of weeks now and I just wondered if there are any potential issues with this. The engine is covered but not sealed with cling film or anything. The car is inside but not not heated. Cause for concern or no probs?

As long as your reasonably convinced nothing of significance has got in I cannot see a problem. If you wish to be really cautious you could re-assemble turn over till you get oil pressure, run for a short time and then replace the oil and filter, possibly flush. As long as your happy its not got anything in it, such as half a bag of sand, it should be fine as is. In my view anyway.
